Family and friends were everything to David. So glad I was able to know him! He will be so missed.

We moved to San Diego in 1972 and met David through work. He and Edna immediately invited us over to dinner and we have all been friends ever since. Our son was born three hours after their daughter so we raised our children at the same time. Our families skied together, celebrated birthdays, many New Years, even the change of a millennium, countless dinners, parties, board and card games, movies, plays and ball games. We traveled together from local California trips to ski vacations in Utah, Idaho and Colorado and to our son’s wedding in Italy.
David's love of family was unwavering. In the last seven years his grandchildren were the focus of his attention. Spending time with Raegan and Jameson was a source of joy for David and they brought out the kid in him.
David was a great friend. He always showed an interest and a concern for others. David was easy going and open to new experiences. He was an avid reader who often surprised us with his knowledge and insight. We miss him everyday and will never forget him.
