Obituary of Karen E. Warren

Karen E. Warren, age 79, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Julie’s Elderly Care in Santee, CA due to her battle with Parkinson’s disease.  She was cremated per her last will and testament to be scattered at sea with Robert when he should pass.  She was born October 11, 1941, in Fulton, NY to Isaac “Ike” Story and Bernadette Rafferty.  She was a 1959 graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, NY.  She was married to Robert F. Warren on April 8, 1951, in Fulton, NY at the Immaculate Conception Church.  She worked as an Executive Assistant for over 40 years, displaying a wonderful knack of solving problems.  As well, ran a catering business with her best friend Joan Draper.  Those two could whip up anything spectacular with just a few ingredients.  We all called it “Magic in the Kitchen.”  Karen truly lived life to the fullest through traveling with friends all over the World, as well as just sitting down and catching up with you in the simplest of ways.  Her presence was infectious, and truly anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her would tell you just that.  She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sisters; son (family) and daughter (Pam) Martini, Son-In-Law (Jeff Martini) and their children, her grandchildren, Bradley, Allyson, and Hunter.  Family, friends, and others whose lives Karen touched are invited to share your condolences here.
