最最亲爱的国华：我带着在美国的儿孙们来见你最后一面。自從1951年我们相遇、互相爱慕到结婚69年之久，历尽艰辛赏尽了人生的酸甜苦辣。上山下乡能上能下，开拓创业；是尊业的伯乐及领头羊、你永远是个强者是我们的楷模，我们的英雄。你慈詳的面容，平宜近人谈笑风生，博学多才论古今。你的音容笑貌永留在我们的心中。你是个好丈夫好父亲好爷爷！我们深深地爱你！親爱的安息吧！

 

My Dearest Kwok Wa, 

Today, I gather all our children and grandchildren here in the US to say our last farewell to you.

It’s been a wonderful 69 years since we met each other in 1951.  Throughout our long lasting loving 60 years of marriage, we had endured various experiences, and tasted all spices of life together.  Whether it is constant work relocation in the early days or starting our careers together.  

You were the pioneer in your 43 years of medical career, and always a strong leader and role model.  You had keen eyes to scout out future talents and student fellowship,  endeavored to further develop and expand the field of nuclear medicine.  You will forever be our hero.

Your were always joyful, pleasant, upbeat, warm, and kind to every life you had touched. Always had a great sense of humor, easy to talk to, and loved by everyone.  You were so incredibly intelligent and had such a broad array of knowledge whether it’s past, present, or future.

Your voice, smile, and laughter will forever stay with all of us and live on in our hearts.

You were a great husband, wonderful father, and warm loving grandpa - “GongGong”.

You will forever be in our hearts. We love you and miss you so dearly and deeply. My dear, my love, may you Rest In Peace...
