Obituary of Morgan Nathaniel Zeglin

Morgan Nathaniel Zeglin, age 40, passed away tragically on January 24, 2023. He was born March 29, 1982 in Baytown, Texas to Patricia Busch and Stephen Zeglin. He was active duty in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. While he impacted many people’s lives during his decorated naval career, his crowning achievement was meeting the love of his life Jonna Zeglin and having two beautiful daughters, Kherrington and Ayla.

He dedicated his life to the United States Navy and took immense pride in his service to the United States of America. He took great pleasure in mentoring and being a leader to his fellow shipmates. He is known for his wit and humor and for always being there for anyone that needed guidance or just someone to listen. His death is a shock to everyone, but his legacy continues through Kherrington and Ayla.

Morgan is survived by wife Jonna Zeglin; children, Kherrington and Ayla Zeglin; mother, Patricia Busch; father, Stephen Zeglin; stepmother, Cynthia Zeglin; brother, Christopher Zeglin and wife, Crystal Zeglin; stepsiblings, William Newton, Sharon Davis, Christy Rios and husband, Abel Rios; nephews, Hayden and Colston Zeglin; aunts, Lynne Jones, Sandra Simmons and Tana Busch; uncles, Scott Manning and Tommy Zeglin; cousins, Dedra Brown, Darren Weatherford, Joanna Weatherford, Daniel Perkins, Brandon Manning, Amanda Taylor and Dina Turner; grandmother, Marian Woods.

Morgan is preceded in death by grandmother, Faye Young; grandfathers, Charles Antonini and Tommy Woods; stepfather, Marc Busch.
