Darcy and Elizabeth, Please accept my sincere condolence in the loss of your mother. One of our first lessons in life is learning to love, this lesson comes from our mothers I believe. I feel very lucky to still have my mom in my life, your aunt Audrey, she is now 88 ! I spoke with her today about your mom and the first thing she mentioned was that she remembered how beautiful she was, even winning miss Saint Clair Shores back in the Michigan days. I'm also sorry to you both for the loss of your dad, as a child I remember your dad blowing in for a visit like a breath of fresh air. I know sometimes as we get older memories cloud and get jumbled up in our heads, but I think it's better to go back to this first lesson and remember how much they loved us.
All the best to you !
Jimmy

Beverly was from the great generation... tough-as-nails and so loving and protective of her family.
How she ever managed to let her granddaughter move to Pennsylvania with me, I'll never know! It must have been because she loved her so much.
I still get a kick out of how she tried to be on her ''best behavior'' when I came to town...especially when Fox News would rile her up!
She let me become part of her wonderful family...and I am thankful for knowing her.

As we go down the path of life many memories are made along the way. Some we think of more than others. Aunt Bev is one of my special memories that comes up often. She has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From childhood until now, her smile, kindness, and times shared have always been with me. Although time and distance separated us, the bond we shared will always be with me. She will be missed as each day passes, but she will never be forgotten. Knowing she is at peace with God brings comfort to us all. I will always love you Aunt Bev.

To our wonderful sister and aunt, Bev. We will miss you but look forward to seeing you in the presence of our Savior. We will never forget the great times we had especially when we were bringing up our kids in Michigan and California. We were lucky to have lived so close in both states. We continue to reminisce about the Northern Michigan vacations and the great times with the Paul family. We will all meet again! Judy, Ed and family.

Aunt Bev! The most eclectic of five sisters with such an ebullient spirit. She was such fun, and I wished she had lived closer. Definitely one to follow the beat of her own drum, Aunt Bev wove such wonderful and beautiful life story. Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Niece, Cousin, Aunt, Friend - She held all of these titles and will be missed by her family, friends, and animals. The animals! I like to thing that she relaxing by the pool somewhere, with Frodo on her lap, two great danes running amok nearby, and a few horses grazing in the background.

Darcy, Liz and Christin: sending my heartfelt condolences to you all. Aunt Bev was such a special lady. I have wonderful childhood memories of visiting her in San Diego. On one visit she gave my entire family the use of her home and she slept in the camper. That’s just the kind of person she was. Completely selfless. I remember visiting her at her condo too. It was always a special treat to spend time with her. I will cherish the memories and times I spent with her for the rest of my life❤️

Thank you Rebecca for those fond memories. Nothing was too much for her beloved family members and she LOVED spending time with her family either visiting them or having them visit. She was a happy hostess and lovedto feed everyone and be a tour guide to share adventures. She was so happy for you when your daughter was born and has the picture of the 2 of you on her dresser.

I did not have the opportunity to meet Beverly, but she was obviously a wonderful person and mother, to raise 2 strong, standup women!

Thank you Kath. She would be proud to hear you say that. She taught me so much about so many different things. The most important of which is " you can do anything you put your mind to as long as it's Gods Will". Wise words from the mom who could do just about everthing.

Darcy and Liz - All of us back here in Michigan send our love and condolences with the passing of your beloved Mom. We were so sad to learn of your loss. At such a difficult time, losing a parent, we hope you can take comfort in the fact that you all have been in our thoughts and prayers. I have so many great memories of Aunt Bev......from childhood and our visits to St. Clair Shores/Mount Clemons (I thought of her last weekend when we were down in Mount Clemons for the baptism of son Joe’s twins and how angry she’d get when the jets from Selfridge AFB would break the sound barrier and some of her antique dish ware....), to the times she’d visit us up at Mullett Lake. She and mom were two peas in a pod.....the Elzerman nose (which I’m proud to carry on), the temper (I don’t know if Aunt Bev was a kitchen cabinet slammer or if that was just mom’s specialty), the twinkle in the eye and the love they had for family. Sue and I were so fortunate to be able to spend time with Aunt Bev a few years back when we came to San Diego for a wedding. I’ll treasure all those memories. God bless and if you two can ever make it back to the Midwest, we’d love to have you stay with us. It’s been too many years.....All our love, John D. and Sue

Thank you John and Sue. I love the memories you shared. I enjoyed all our visits and family time growing up and as grown ups! Mom so loved all her family and nieces and nephews like her own. She kept us all informed of everyone and let us know about all the great news and told us to pray when needed. Our moms were the best. I hope to get there to visit sometime when all settles. Family is always the greatest destination. That was moms motto. Hope you can join in the live chat the 11th.

My Aunt Bev. If you met her, you didn't forget her. She was so beautiful and dynamic. So many memories of holidays, going to the ranch, horse shows, Coronado, the Del, Michigan family visits, Lake Erie Condo vacations. She came to Disney in Florida with us one time too. There was nothing better than sitting around the table listening to an Aunt Bev story. She loved her family and friends with all she had. Airport scenes were full of tears and red lipstick kisses. We would all be crying at the gate. Rest in peace my lovely Aunt Bev. We will be together again. I know you are watching over us.

Sending so much love to my dear cousins Darcy and Liz, and all who loved my aunt Bev. She always seemed bigger than life to me, with a spark in her eyes and a zest for life. We always had so much fun spending time with aunt Bev and she holds a special place in my heart. So many memories over the years. The world seems less bright without her in it! She will be deeply missed by so many.

She was quite a lady and she well indeed be missed by all who knew her, she had a beautiful smile and yes looked beautiful with her red lipstick . My condolences and prayers go out to Darcy, Rob, Liz, Kim, Christin as well as her sister Judy and all her family & friends.
