Obituary of Hazel Thelma Goldy

Hazel Goldy went to join her beloved husband, Donald, in heaven on August 8, 2021.  She was the youngest of 11 children, born in Massachusetts.  At the age of two, she and her siblings entered the foster care system.  There, she garnered a tenacity and strength for accomplishing goals.  

After graduating from High School, she immediately went to work.  Hazel always loved working and put her whole heart into it.  She was a great communicator with a multitude of friends.  Hazel later moved to San Diego where she remained and worked for the rest of her life.

Hazel loved the Lord and loved her family.  She especially enjoyed her church time with family and friends. She greatly loved family birthday gatherings.  She was a big fan of traveling, especially Nashville, Kona; and her favorite, Las Vegas.  She loved animals, especially dogs.  She was a country music fan, who loved singing.  In fact, as a teenager she and a two of her sisters, sang on the radio.

Hazel is survived by one daughter, Barbara; two granddaughters, Jamie and Julie; and their husbands, Bryan and Landon; two great-granddaughters, Juliet and Claire; four great-grandsons, Justin, Jacob, Kyle and Carson; along with one remaining sister, Lillian; and many nieces and nephews.
