I have so many memories of Tony we worked many assignments together from working fugitive plain clothes details to working in courts. Tony was a good cop with good instincts. I always saw him at Oggies or the gym he will be missed RIP my friend,

Tony was always one of my favorites! He was a great deputy and good to have around if you needed cover. Tony could always be counted on no matter what the situation.
I'll always remember the fun we had during the softball games, golf, and the extradition to Memphis we did together. And I'll never forget the time when we were playing golf in Coronado when our group was sitting on a grassy mound waiting for another group to tee off. After they teed off Tony, who was sitting behind me, jumped on my back and we wrestled around for a few minutes laughing and cursing!! I guess he was testing me to see if I could get him off my back! But that was Tony, playful and fun to be around.
I will miss Tony, but I know he's probably looking down on us and laughing. I look forward to seeing him again.... if I make it to where he's at right now! RIP my friend!
My thoughts and prayers are for Tony and his family at this sad and difficult time. God Bless you.

Oh Tony, dear Tony... it’s now one month since your passing and I still can’t grasp it. I think others may feel the same way as your illness and death from COVID was such a shock.
I worked in the El Cajon Sheriffs office with Tony for many years. For several years we worked in close office quarters where our desks directly faced each other from across the aisle! I really got to know Tony during this time and I observed he worked in a very professional and highly diligent manner. The job always came 1st! He was always ready to solve the numerous problems that would arise on a regular basis. On a more personal note Tony could be counted on to have a sweet, kind of sly, and sometimes mischievous smile on his face! But He also had a fun, good natured and playful nature!
Thoughts of love and comfort to friends and family left behind, especially wife Cyd and daughter Paige . May God provide you with peace and comfort while we know from Gods word “that to be absent rom the body is to be present with the Lord.”
Love and big, tight hugs to you both.

A great person. A great cop. A great teacher. Thanks for watching out for the retired guys during DTAC refresher. You always made it educational AND fun. You were someone everyone had confidence in by just saying "I've got your back." God Bless you and your family. Thank You for sharing Tony with the rest of us. Thank You Tony for being You. I know God has you in training to show us the way when our time comes.

Tony was a brother in Christ, a brother in uniform, and a brother on the trail. We worshipped together, we served together, and we R&R'd together. My heart is filled with sadness at his passing, but I am so anxiously awaiting seeing him again in heaven. I hope they have a gym in heaven... and a dojo...and a campground... and cornhole... and poker night... and every last thing we did together. Tony truly let his light shine before all men. He was a good friend, father, and husband.
I fiercely miss you, Tony.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony and Cyd in the East County Branch of the Superior Court for many years. They are both such wonderful, kind, considerate friends. Handsome and Gorgeous made a great couple. It makes me so sad that Tony passed so young. Cyd and Tony were just starting to enjoy their retirement and had so many plans for the future. I recently, just before COVID started, had the pleasure of meeting Tony and Cyd for dinner and the Big Time Operator band. It was the last time I saw them together. Now that night will be a treasured memory. Life is short, live each and every day to the fullest. Until we meet again Tony, around God’s heavenly throne. Bev Harris
