Obituary of Nora Delaine Kimsey

Nora Delaine Kimsey, 83, passed at her home in Santee, California on Monday,February 1, 2021 at 1pm surrounded by her family.  She was born in Helena, Montana to the late Charles O Kimsey and Dorma B Caldwell.

She was married to Eugene Boggs 

She was an executive secretary who excelled in her job and loved her work and her work family. She retired from UCSD Dept of Psychiatry approximately 20 years ago.

She was born in Montana, but over the years she lived in Nebraska, Florida and California.

Nora was the Family Matriarch and her passion was her family and friends.  Her smile lit up the entire room and her laugh was infectious and yes sometimes loud.    She was generous to a fault.  She loved with her whole heart!  Most of all she loved to be surrounded by her grandkids and great grandkids!

Nora was preceded in death by James Roach 12-28-61 to 9-4-17 and Douglas Allen Roach 8-7-64 to 11-13-2019.

Nora is survived by her Husband, Eugene E Boggs of Santee, Calfiornia.

Nora is survived by her daughters Jeannie Riding of  Florida, Nancy Sisinni (Pete) of Georgia, Shelli Reynolds of TN, Kathy Dennison (Roger) of Maine, Elaine Stevens (Kevin) of Maine and daughter-in-law Joanna

Mosby Roach.  Her son, Douglas Allen Roach, predeceased her in November, 2019.

Nora’s Grand children surviving her are Paul and David Parmarter of Florida, Kaila Kiely of Washington, Melissa Roach of Santee, California, Maranda Villalobos of Arizona and Moriah and Naomia Choulagh of Florida.

Nora’s surviving grandchildren are Tristan Huskey of Florida, Katie and Jacob Hemenway of New York, Landyn, Lorelai and Emma of Santee, California and Gabriel Savich of Florida.

Nora’s surviving sister, Sandra Till resides in North Carolina.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (PST) at

LifeBridge Church in San Diego, CA which will include a virtual ceremony for family and friends. A link will be provided soon.
