Hi Grammy! We miss you bunches down here on earth but I know you’re having a great time up in Heaven. Thank you for all of the memories and pearls of wisdom over the last few months. Do you want to hear my melon joke again? No I didn’t think you would haha. We love and miss you!

Grammy! Thank you for all of your famous fried chicken that you made us over the many years! I loved eating all the leftovers that you left when you went home! I definitely couldn’t forget about the season passes to sea world that we looked forward to every year for our Christmas presents. Couldn’t wait to go see shamu and pet the sting rays with you! Definitely going to miss you sooooo much!!!
Love you!
Love David

Over the years, Grandma has been a special part of and responsible for so many memories our family experienced together. Each Christmas Grandma would buy our family season passes to Sea World which was truly the gift that kept on giving the whole year. We have so many memories of just hanging out and watching Shamu or going to the penguin encounter. We all won't forget the time a seagull stole Amanda's churro right out of her little hand.Of course I have to mention her famous fried chicken, that we would always look forward to every time she would visit us. With every chicken dinner you had to have mashed potatoes of course and she introduced me to adding fresh chopped onions to them. Who knew that would be SO GOOD!!! Grandmas love of animals would allow us visit my family in Massachusetts, she would always volunteer to come to our home and take care of our numerous animals from dogs, cats hamsters, snails and lizards. That was truly a blessing knowing our home and animals were safe while we were visiting our East Coast family members. From doing gag gifts at Christmas to cheering on The Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team through good years and bad years, we have so many great memories to reflect on. Grandma was a very special part of our family.and will always be loved and missed. I know she's with all her love ones who have passed on before her, so I know she's in good hands. We'll miss you Grandma!
Love
Kevin

The Deuel Family sends our heartfelt condolences to Yvonnes family. We have known her for many years. The ultimate prize was when we were invited to share her fried chicken and gravy. Delicious! Several years ago we invited Yvonne to attend a play. It was wild in downtown SD as it was Comic-Con weekend. Afterward we dined at DZ Akins. Her love for matzo ball soup began that day. She was an intelligent woman who could converse on a great number of topics. Always fun. Rest in Peace Grma. You fought the good fight.
