William Dock

Obituary of William Harry Dock

William Dock was a disabled veteran that served in the Navy and was on the USS Kitty Hawk during Vietnam. He then went straight into the Post Office where he stayed until he retired. He served in the union of the post office as Vice President for 8 years and then became manager at the main post office in San Diego, Ca.

He was loved by his large family and was known as a jokester to all. He was generous, social, friendly, and always had positive things to say about anyone he met. He was known for giving candy and treats to all the staff at his Assisted Living and took personal care of the Koi fish that lived in the pond in the courtyard. He provided food and company to the Koi fish several times a day. His family is heartbroken that he no longer is a phone call away.

His family includes, 4 beautiful grandchildren (Seth, Hayley, Savannah, and Hannah), precious great-grandson (Noah), daughter (Heather), Son-in-law (Charles), two sisters (Patricia and Andrea), Brother-in-law (William), 1 nephew and 5 nieces, several second and third nieces and nephews, cousins, and many longtime friends.

Pops we miss you, we know you and Grandma are in heaven being reunited, along with many other departed family. We  love  you  Pops!!!
