We knew uncle Don through aunt Ngoc-Diep, who has been our parents’ friends for over 60 years.
All the main events in our lives, uncle Don and aunt Ngoc Diep were always there supporting, loving us. We admired the love that aunt Ngoc Diep and Uncle Don shared with each other.
Our family share your loss, aunt Ngoc-Diep, we truly believe that uncle Don is with our dad, James Do, attending the feast with our wonderful God.
Rest In Peace, uncle Don.

I have considered Don to be a best friend for more then forty years now. One can only imagine the quantity of fond memories his passing has evoked. The earliest are the wine buying trips to Dieter Schubert’s in Ingelheim while our families were in Germany. The times his family visited mine in Las Vegas and I arranged tours of a couple casino surveillance control rooms for him and he in turn arranged for a tour of the AWACS aircraft for me. His first desert rabbit hunt was on another visit. The numerous “discussions” we had as he was Air Force and I was Army. He used Apple computers and I chose the Commodore. Then we both moved to DOS in the days when there was only a flashing cursor on the screen after the computer finished booting. Don was an exceptional individual, family man, and friend. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.

Don was always willing to give his time and wisdom to Dave's friends and was always welcoming. I remember good times while working on his house and many other good visits. A quick wit and great sense of humor is what I admired most.

Mr. Sadler made an indelible impression and will be fondly remembered for his wit and candor. He gave practical, actionable advice to all of his daughter Danielle’s friends and I was among those fortunate enough to have benefited from his wisdom. May you be at peace, Mr. Sadler.

I was Don's supervisor in Okinawa in the mid 1980s. There, we also met his wife Diep and enjoyed her company in many social settings. Don was "ahead of the game" when it came to integrating personal computers in the audit workplace. He rightfully was proud of his educational accomplishments and becoming a commissioned officer in the USAF. Diane and I have admiration for him in his valiant fight against the cancer that eventually took his life. Rest in peace and be assured your country is thankful for your faithful military service.

Don was one of the most warm hearted, open, and welcoming persons we ever met. His unconditional love for others led him on many paths that demonstrated God watches over all of us. We will miss him and know he will watch over all of his family and friends from heaven above.

Mr. Sadler was a significant influence on me during my teen years. I will always remember him for his humor, the passion he brought to discussions and activities, and the regard and respect he showed all of us teenagers in his life. He will be remembered fondly.
