Obituary of Rodolfo Santos Alanzalon

Rodolfo Alanzalon, a devout Christian, devoted husband and a loving father, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 am at Sharp Chula Vista Hospital. Rodolfo is survived by his wife, Lily Alanzalon (nee Wallace), Children: Veronica Alanzalon, Edward Alanzalon, Eldefonsa Lucio, Francisco Alanzalon, Alfred Alanzalon, Leticia Alanzalon and Berma Alanzalon and grandchildren: Kennon, Kalvin, Kohlin, Sarah Joy, Faith, Joshua, Jia Leanna and Adriel Luke. Rodolfo was born on December 18, 1935 in Magtaking, San Carlos, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was the son of Toribio and Cristina Alanzalon. He was a retired Mining Patrol Officer with Benguet Corporation in Baguio City, Philippines. He worked in the company for more than 30 years. Rodolfo loved reading and memorizing the bible. This was his routine early in the morning. He also loved singing hymns to His Lord. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while he was still in the Philippines and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Baguio. He migrated together with his wife, Lily to the United States in 1997 and stayed with his son, Francisco and his family. He lived in San Diego for 21 years. He became a member of Bible Baptist Church also in 1997 and had been attending there ever since. Rodolfo loved going to church with his family. When he started getting weaker, one of his motivation to get better was his desire to attend church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Viewing/Service will be April 6, 2018 5-9pm and Burial Service will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10 am. All services will be held at: Bible Baptist Church 2432 E. 18th St National City, CA 91950
