Obituary of Carol Ann Johnson

Carol Ann Johnson, 73, passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018 at home with family after a battle with cancer. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 6th, 1945 to the parents of Del Roy and Violet Wendt. Carol was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Carol met her husband, Ken while working at Honeywell and married August 1, 1970. They had three children and moved to San Diego in 1981. Carol loved working as an EMT at Alvarado Hospital in the Emergency Room. She also managed a home owners association in Rancho San Diego. Carol always put others before herself and had a personality and sense of humor everyone loved. She had a love for animals of all kinds, especially cats. She is survived by her husband of over forty seven years, Kenneth Johnson, daughters Chrissy Martinez, Shelley Ehlke, and son Kenney Johnson. She has five grandchildren ( Madeline and Meagan Ehlke, Jonathan and Joseph Martinez, and Hailey Johnson), who she loved to spend time with and shower with gifts. She had four siblings, Barbara Hann, Del Roy Wendt, Linda Wendt, and Katherine Brousseau. We know many people loved and cared for Carol. She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.
