Obituary of Keri Anne Kluwin

Keri Anne Kluwin, age 40, passed away at home on Sunday, July 15, 2018 surrounded by family. She was born to Thomas and Karen Kluwin on October 26, 1977 in Oakland, California. As a daughter of a United States Navy/Naval Senior Chief, Keri called many different States and Countries, home. She enjoyed living in Washington State, New Mexico, the island of Guam, and her beloved city of San Diego, CA. She graduated from Mira Mesa High School in 1996. Keri worked with multiple organizations until her final job at Triwest in San Diego, where she worked as a military medical insurance specialist for nine years. She enjoyed watching her beloved Green Bay Packers with her father and nephew Tyler, having the opportunity to fulfill one of her dreams to see them play live at Lambeau Field in 2016. She also loved cross stitching, gardening, and visiting Disneyland. Most often, you would find her with a big bowl of chips and salsa, surrounded by her niece and nephew, who she truly loved to spoil rotten. She lived out her life’s mantra; “you can never have too many treats or stuffed animals” She is survived by her mother, Karen, brother TJ and his wife Diana, nephew Tyler, niece Lillian, cousins, Jeff and Amanda Frayer, and her Aunt Kathy and husband Ron Birkholz. Keri’s final wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread at sea, off the coast of San Diego. A memorial service will be held at the Newbreak Church in Scripps Ranch on August 3, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Newbreak Church 10635 Scripps Ranch Blvd San Diego, CA 92131 Note: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests friends and family donate a wreath to Miramar National Cemetery through Wreaths Across America or make a contribution to cancer research in Keri’s name.
