No other man had a greater impact on my adult life than Warrant Barber. He was truly a great man! I was so fortunate to have his guidance and mentorship. I will forever regret not maintaining contact through the years, thinking he would always be here. Sir, you will be sorely missed! My sincere condolences to Dolly, Jr, and Courtney.

Bob was a great friend, co-worker and patriot. He set a fine example for others to follow and was always willing to stop what he was doing and help others. He will be sorely missed; his absence will leave a whole in the hearts of those that had the honor to call him, shipmate, friend, co-worker, chief, warrant etc. Fair winds and following seas Bob!

My condolence to the Barber family, in memorial to Bob's passing. He left a great legacy that exemplified his integrity. I missed Bob's joking about Navy vs. Air Force culture, before I retired from Northrop Grumman Corp. Rest on my good friend, there is no more pain to suffer...peace be with you.

i enjoyed talking with Bob and being his friend. I learned a lot from him. We were trying to find a reason for pancreatic cancer not being detestable until it is too late. I will miss Bob's great sense of humor

I am deeply saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. I went to school in Springfield and played basketball with him. He had a great sense of humor. Though we are relatives; my knowledge of him was as a friend. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Dolly, Bobby and Courtney - your dad was a Navy man thru and thru. I worked with him on and off from 1990-2016 in the Navy and at Northrop. He is one of the finest people I have ever worked with and I will miss his wisdom terribly. I know this is a very difficult time but know that your dad was a very special man who touched many of us who worked with him.
